Dummy Software Packages (March 2009)

The official set of dummy Product and Plug-in packages for marketing purposes of WoltLab GmbH (Berlin/Germany), for the 2009 release of the commercial discussion board WoltLab Burning Board 3 and 3.1.

At the time when i created these packages, there were 3 main Community Software solutions. WoltLab Community Framework, which was the base installation for running all other applications. WoltLab Burning Board discussion forum software as well as the WoltLab Burning Board Lite version were installed onto the framework. There was other software which utilized the Framework, which was company only, like the WoltLab Community Bugtracker …

These packages, which are huge resolutions images, created with Macromedia Freehand, were used on the WoltLab website, on the installation screens and on various marketing materials created for the company. Usage of these images ended with the release of WoltLab Burning Board 4.x in 2012.
